SAFF Championship Final: Historic match is being played between Nepal and India today

The title fight of the 13th edition of SAAF Championship Football is taking place in Maldives on Saturday 16th October 2021 . Nepal and India will meet in the final. The match between Nepal and India will start at 8:45 pm Nepali time.

India topped the five-nation round-robin league and reached the final. Nepal finished second and secured a place in the final.

Nepal has reached the final for the first time in its history. Earlier, Nepal was making its way to the semi-finals. Therefore, Nepal wants to win the historic title by defeating India today. However, the Nepali team is aware that it will not be easy against India.

India is the most successful team of SAFF Championship . India have won the title seven times so far. India is planning to win the title for the eighth time.
