Nepal’s Batting Concerns: Team Concludes World Cup Tour Without a Win

Nepal cricket team’s journey in the T20 World Cup being held in America and West Indies remained without victory in the group stage. Nepal had to face defeat by 21 runs due to poor batting in the last match against Bangladesh. After the victory against Nepal, Bangladesh has reached the Super 8 by finishing second in Group D with 6 points in 4 matches. Bangladesh is the 8th team to reach the Super 8.

Nepal Performance in 2024 T20 World Cup

In the first match, Nepal had set a target of 106 runs against Netherlands which Netherlands won by 6 wickets.

Nepal’s second match was against Sri Lanka but the match was cancelled due to rain.

In the third game Nepal had to score 116 runs against South Africa and lost it by 1 run.

In the fourth match, Bangladesh set a target of 107 runs for Nepal but in this match also Nepal lost by 21 runs.
