The new jersey of the national cricket team has been made public. Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) treasurer Roshan Bahadur Singh and co-head of sponsor My Second Teacher Sulabh Budhathoki unveiled the jersey on Monday.
The open call for the national cricket team’s new Jersey design was made a month ago. The jersey designed by Adarsh Pokhrel was selected by a committee comprising CAN member Chhumbi Lama, general manager Raunak Malla, cricket manager Binod Das and main sponsor My Second Teacher.
The selection committee found that the jersey, which was designed to match the color of the national flag within the rules of the International Cricket Council (ICC), was excellent. Designer Pokharel has received a prize of Rs 1 lakh. This jersey will be used by Nepal for the first time in the tri-series between Oman and USA under ICC World Cup League 2.
