Nepali women’s football team reached the top 100 in the FIFA rankings

Nepali national women’s football team has improved one place in the FIFA world rankings. Nepal women team which was ranked 101 position in the rankings nowbentered the top 100 rankings released by the FIFA on Friday.
The women’s team had won a silver medal in the 13th South Asian Games. In the final, Nepali team lost to India. After that women team not played any match .
India is the top in South Asian countries with 57th among South Asian nations. Other South Asian countries, Bangladesh is ranked 137th, Sri Lanka 143rd, Maldives 144th and Bhutan 161st.
The United States tops the FIFA women’s rankings, followed by Germany, France, the Netherlands and Sweden. Nepal is ranked 171st in the men’s FIFA rankings released on May 27.
