Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced the 15-member squad for the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. the ODI series will be played from 2nd to 7th June in Hambantota.
Abdul Rahman is back in the Afghanistan team. And the reserve players include Shaheedullah Kamal, Yameen Ahmadzai, Zia ur Rehman Akbar and Gulbadin Naib. ACB has given chance to some young players for this series.
The Sri Lankan team is playing it as preparation for the ICC Cricket World Qualifier, which will be played in Jimwabe next month.
And with this series, Afghanistan is starting preparations for the ICC World Cup.
