Rupendehi has become the champion of the PM Cup Women’s National Cricket Tournament Lumbini

Rupendehi has become the champion in the Lumbini state level selection match of the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s National Cricket Tournament held in Rupendehi.

Rupendehi defeated Dang by 18 runs in the final held at Siddhartha Stadium in Bhairahawa on Tuesday. Dang became the runner-up. Rupendehi has become the first champion in women’s cricket from this competition.

Rupendehi won the toss and elected to bat. He scored 120 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the 20 overs. Captain Nitu Bhandari scored 38 not out, Vibhasana BC scored 21 and Kriti Sen scored 18. In bowling, Laxmi Chaudhary, Kamala GM, Madhu DC and Saraswati GM of Dang took equal 1-1 wickets.

In reply, Dang scored 102 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Saraswati GM added 25, Madhu DC added 20 and Anita Chaudhary added 10 not out for Dang. In bowling, Rupendehi’s Susmita Bhusal and Saru Tiwari got 2-2 and Vibhasana BC and Alyssa KC took 1-1 wickets .
