Nepal Super League yesterday match, FC Chitwan lost to Dhangadhi Football Club . In the first match of the day played at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor, Chitwan lost 3-0 to Dhangadhi. Despite playing under pressure in the first half, Chitwan was forced to hand over the result in the second half.
In the first half, some of the efforts made by Chitwan were returned to the goal post bar and some of the goals were thwarted by Dhangadhi goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong. But Dhangadhi, who entered the field with an aggressive strategy in the second half, scored three goals in the last 16 minutes and added three clear points.
Nishan Limbu, Olawale Afiz and Buddha Bal Tamang scored one goal each in the second half. Earlier, Dhangadhi played a goalless draw in the first half and took full advantage of the opportunity in the second half. Nishan’s goal in the 64th minute gave Dhangadhi a 1-0 lead while Olawale doubled Dhangadhi’s lead in the 69th minute. Buddha Ball scored in the 80 th minute to give Dhangadhi a 3-0 victory.
Nishan Limbu of Dhangadhi was selected as the Player of the Match and received Rs 25,000. Buddha Bal Tamang of Dhangadhi was declared the Emerging Player of the Match and received Rs 10,000.
Dhangadhi has added 7 points in 4 games with its second win in the ongoing league.
