Nepal has made complete preparations for the ACC Premier Cup. After a long gap, the Nepal Cricket Board has got a chance to organize a major cricket tournament. If CAN completes this successfully, then ICC can give it a chance to do other competitions in future also.
With this tournament, another cricket ground of Nepal will host international cricket. The games will be held at Moolpani Cricket Ground and Tribhuvan Antarishtia Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.
10 Associate Members of ICC Asia will participate in this tournament. 24 matches will be played in two groups on round robin and knock out basis. This contest will run from April 18 to May 1.
Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are in Group A along with hosts Nepal. And Group B has UAE, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuwait.
The first match of this tournament will be played between Nepal and Malaysia at Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground. A total of 13 matches including the final match will be played on this ground. And the first match at Mulpani Cricket Ground will be between Oman and Qatar on 19th April. There will be 11 matches including the second semi-final on this ground.
