Cricket Association of Nepal – CAN has announced Nepal T20 League.
The league, known as the official cricket league of Nepal, has been recognized by the National Sports Council Nepal.
According to CAN, Indian company Seven-3 Sports will remain a strategic and business partner.
Earlier, the league which CAN was supposed to do last year could not happen due to various reasons.
CAN also decided to cancel the initial deal with Seven-3 Sports and go ahead with the process.
But two months ago, the General Assembly of CAN at Dhangadhi took another decision to give it to Seven-3.
Youth and Sports Minister Maheshwar Gajraj is confident that organizing the T20 league will help Nepalese cricket as well as the country’s economy.
CAN has not clarified on what date the league will be announced.
