The sun is setting over the Tribhuvan University Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal. The Nepalese cricket team is on the brink of history as they prepare to take on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Papua New Guinea in the upcoming One Day International (ODI) series. With a 100% victory rate needed to qualify directly for the upcoming 50-over World Cup, the stakes are high and the pressure is on.

Currently, Nepal is in fifth position in the point table of CWC league 2, with Scotland on top with 50 points and Oman in the second spot with
44 point. Namibia, with 39 points, has played all their matches. In order to qualify for the World Cup, Nepal must win all four of their upcoming matches.

The Nepalese team is confident in their ability to achieve this feat. Led by captain Rohit Poudel, the team has been won the last 7 out of 8 matches in last two series. After joined the new coach Monty Desai teams performance is improved . They have adopted a rigorous fitness regime and worked closely with the coaching staff to ensure they are battle-ready.
