IPL 2021 : KKR legendary bowler will not play remaining match this season

Kolkata Knight Riders facing major setback before the Indian Premier League (IPL) -14 resumed. The veteran pacer of the team will not be available in the second part of IPL-14 .

Fast bowler Pat Cummins will not be available in the second part of IPL-14. Pat Cummins was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 15.5 crore in the 2020 auction.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Pat Cummins will not be available in the IPL 2021 to be held in the UAE. Cummins has not given any reason for not participating in the second phase of IPL 2021.

The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) on Saturday approved the resumption of the IPL in UAE in September, with 31 matches remaining.

The T20 World Cup is scheduled to be played in India in October-November and Cricket Australia (CA) will also have to look into aspects such as players’ workload and fatigue occurring in a biologically safe environment.

Australian players had to remain in isolation after reaching home via Maldives from India due to travel related restrictions in the country due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
