Germany beat Portugal in Group F of Euro Cup 2020 Germany reversed a one-goal deficit at home to beat Portugal 4-2.

After the first victory, Germany has added 3 points from 2 games and has maintained the possibility of reaching the knockout stage. Germany had lost 1-0 to France in the first match.

This is the first defeat for defending champions Portugal, who beat Hungary 3-0 in the first leg.

In the 15th minute of the game in Munich, Cristiano Ronaldo gave Portugal the lead by scoring on a pass from Diego Jota. But Germany, playing aggressively from the start, did not have to wait long to equalize.

Germany equalized in the 35th minute when Portugal’s Ruben Diaz scored an own goal. Rafael Guerreira also scored an own goal in the 39th minute to give Germany a 2-1 lead in the first half.

Germany scored 2 goals within 15 minutes of the second half. In the 51st minute, Roin Gosenko’s pass was converted by Kai Hawart to give Germany a 3-1 lead. In the 60th minute, Gosens scored on a pass from Joshua Kimmich to give Germany a 4-1 lead.

In the 67th minute, Jota tried to close the gap by scoring on Ronaldo’s pass, but Germany could not score any more goals.

France are top of Group D with four points after playing two games. Germany and Portugal have the same 3 points while Hungary has 1 point.
