The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier 2026 will be held in Kathmandu in January, with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) officially confirming the groups and match schedule.
The tournament will feature 10 teams, with warm-up matches on January 14 and 16, and the main competition starting on January 18. Matches will be played at Mulpani Cricket Ground and Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.
Groups
Group A: Bangladesh, Ireland, Namibia, Papua New Guinea, United States
Group B: Nepal, Scotland, Thailand, Netherlands, Zimbabwe
Host Nepal, appearing in the Global Qualifier for the first time, will begin its campaign against Thailand on January 18.The top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six stage, with the top four teams ultimately qualifying for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
