IPL 2026 Player Trades: Full List of Big Transfers Before Retention Deadline

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 trading window has brought some major changes. Top players, team captains and star all-rounders have switched franchises ahead of the retention deadline. These trades will completely change team combinations for the upcoming season.Here is the full list of confirmed transfers.

Ravindra Jadeja Moves to Rajasthan Royals

One of the biggest trades this year—Ravindra Jadeja has left Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and joined Rajasthan Royals (RR).Jadeja played 12 seasons for CSK and has more than 250 IPL matches. His fee has been changed from ₹18 crore to ₹14 crore.

Sanju Samson Joins Chennai Super Kings

RR captain and India wicketkeeper Sanju Samson will now play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).Samson has played 177 IPL matches and remains one of the most trusted batsmen in the league.His fee stays the same at ₹18 crore.

Sam Curran Traded to Rajasthan Royals

England all-rounder Sam Curran has been traded from CSK to Rajasthan Royals at his existing fee of ₹2.4 crore.Curran has played 64 IPL matches and this will be his third franchise.

Mohd Shami to Play for Lucknow Super Giants

Senior fast bowler Mohd Shami will now represent Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) after a trade from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).He will continue at his ₹10 crore fee.Shami won the Purple Cap in 2023 with 28 wickets but missed the 2024 season due to injury.

Mayank Markande Returns to Mumbai Indians

Leg-spinner Mayank Markande has been traded from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) back to Mumbai Indians (MI).His fee remains ₹30 lakh.Markande first played for MI in 2018 and has 37 wickets in 37 matches.

Arjun Tendulkar Moves to LSG

Bowling all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar has been traded from Mumbai Indians to Lucknow Super Giants.He joins LSG at his existing fee of ₹30 lakh.Arjun made his IPL debut in 2023.

Nitish Rana Joins Delhi Capitals

Left-handed batsman Nitish Rana has been traded from Rajasthan Royals to Delhi Capitals (DC).He stays at his ₹4.2 crore fee.Rana has played over 100 IPL matches and also captained KKR in 2023.

Donovan Ferreira Back to Rajasthan Royals

All-rounder Donovan Ferreira returns to Rajasthan Royals after a trade from Delhi Capitals.His fee has been revised from ₹75 lakh to ₹1 crore.
